It is hard to believe but I'm about to start my 10th year working at UW Oshkosh Career Services. During my time at Career Services I have had the great fortune to serve in many capacities serving students, faculty, employers and my colleagues. Over the years in the office I have consistently gained advancing levels of experience from advising, presenting, managing and supervising both my co-workers and interns, teaching, and ultimately serving as the back up for our Director during her absences. My time at Career Services has been so rewarding and motivating. Prior to my experience in Career Services, I worked for 3 years in Residence Life at UWO as an Assistant Hall Director in Fletcher Hall. There I supervised staff, hall leaders, and student employees. I've also held an Interim Head Coaching position at UWO as the Women's Softball Coach for a semester and two years as an assistant coach. My goals are to gain as much experience in the areas of experiential education/co-ops/internships and other areas of career advising. I am interested in doing more in the areas of leadership development and teaching. I love fast-paced environments and having lots of responsibility! I like to be in the thick of things where ever I am.

College of Letters & Sciences Internship & Staff Development Coordinator at UW Oshkosh

I'm working with students and employers interested in internships in the College of L&S. Recently, I've added new responsibilities of supervision and the training & development of some our Career Advisor staff. I'm the Faculty Rep. for the Disney College Program as well.

Publicity Chair at Wisconsin College Personnel Association

2006 - April 2008

I was appointed the WCPA Newsletter & Publicity Chair a little over a year ago. For the orgainzation I put together a quarterly newsletter that goes out to over 200 members in the higher eduation field. I'm also responsible for the publicity and positive image of WCPA. I enjoy my position and am excited to continue through 2008.
